F.A.I.T.H.
Family Assistance Involving The Homeless has a wonderful program we participate in weekly for recycling food from grocery stores, restaurants and bakeries. Most of these establishments can't sell perishable food that is more than one day old (or sometimes even a few hours). Much of this food is still perfectly delicious and can be distributed to the less fortunate. More volunteers are needed to help pick up food from the various establishments and deliver it to designated shelters and churches for re-distribution to the needy. You can volunteer directly with F.A.I.T.H. by calling Ofy at (310 552-2717. She will be glad to enlist you in the food pickup program.

Bristol Farms is far the biggest donor of surplus food for the F.A.I.T.H. food programs. They give us a lot of bread, produce and deli items that would otherwise be thrown out.

Noah's Bagels in Westwood donates a ton of left-over bagels that we pick up every Tuesday Morning.
